Have you noticed strange behavior of your dogs?  If so, what are they and how do you explain them.

Hi: new here, so can't start a thread
We have now had our little boy for about 4 weeks, so he is about 11 weeks old. Very switched on, picks things up in a flash, It's almost like he has been here before.hahah
But his mouth does not stop, bite and chew, chew and bit. it never stops. We also notice that he is very well behaved, then for some odd reason, he decides he is going to attack you, like he growls, lunges at you, and tries it on, we tend not to hit him, but either put him away in his pen, or distract him onto something else, as the more you confront him the more he comes back at you, it's a destructive cycle. Sometimes I will pick him up and tell him NO! he looks away and then I put him down again. But I suppose like any young dog like this, he is going to try it on. But he can at times be a little swine. Also, we have the Great female Pyrenean Mountain, and he gives her a hard time, jumping up and grabbing her fur around her neck. Most of the time she ignores him, But sometimes she well tell him off dog style.

So we going to get on top of this little monster, before he gets too big to get on top of. But we have managed to get him to sit, down, and heal when on lead, so not so bad for 4 weeks we have had him.

My dog is new for me, have only had him a few weeks now but one behaviour that mystifies me is his habit of creeping into the middle of the lilac bush for long periods of time and gnawing the branches at least I think that's what he is doing. I see the branches sway and hear sounds like wood cracking. If I move him out of there he goes right back.

Sometimes he and my older dog will sit side by side staring up into a tree for a very long time, which appears to be about staring contests with red squirrels. But I can't figure out this obsession with crawling into the lilac bush. It's actually quite a squeeze for him to get in there, this puppy is 11 months old and 100 lb. He barely fits into the space but he manages to get in there every morning. I wonder if the wood smells particularly good and worth chewing on, I don't know but it doesn't bother me as long as it's not poisonous or something.
